Team AlexaJ

I think it’s time to meet all the members of Team AlexaJ. There is me (Alex) the owner of the company and my mom, Lesley
AlexaJ have 3 amazing sponsors Charlotte, Jazz & Katherine. They are all amazing in there own way, with their own unique horses and you will learn abit about them in this. Obviously behind any company we have some supporters so I have my dad Paul and my partner Craig to support me by helping out at shows and promoting me on Facebook and instergram 😀

So it’s time to meet Team AlexaJ.

Alex (me)
I have been riding since I was 12 when I had my first pony (Piper) and he was welsh section A, 6 years old and hadn’t been broken. My mom and auntie thought that would be a good idea for my first pony. Then when I out grow him I sadly had to sell him to get Scruff, my Connemara 14.2hh. He was amazing at everything: dressage, jumping, x-country and mounted games. But none of them compare to my current two horses Kez and Xanthie. Kez is a 15.2hh thoughrbred 19 years old, I have had him 10 years I brought him as a dressage horse but he loves to jump. Xanthie is 8 years old and I got her from the RSPCA as a skinny little pony and now she is an amazing 15.2hh horse that is a perfect dressage horse and will go far when she settles down.

Charlotte Jones
I have had horses for the best part of 20 years competing in all disciplines. Currently I have my beautiful Bella who is a 17.1 Oldenburg bred as a show jumper in Holland. She is rising 8 and has come such a long way in the 2 years I have had her. She is now ready to move up and I will be looking to affiliate her with BSJA this year. I also have the fantastic opportunity of competing another horse Max a 16.2 ISH owned by Hilary Moses. Max is definitely one in a million who has stepped up a level over the past year and is now ready to move up to BE in 2018 (we would love to qualify for Badminton Grass Roots). I actively compete both horses in various BRC competitions where we had great success with Max in 2017 competing at 2 championships. I am very excited to see what 2018 will bring with both horses and am proud to be competing as part of the superb AlexaJ Equestrian Team.

Jazz O'mahoney
I have competed in all disciples from medium dressage to newcomers bsja, competing unaffiliated eventing up to novice level. Earlier this year my horse had to be retired but I was fortunate enough that my parents kindly bought me my next competition horse I’m A Carel (Austin)!! He is a 17.3hh 10yo selle Francais by Harlequin Du Carel, he is registered bsja and I have already qualified for second rounds next year, we have now started dressage which he is proving talented ready for the eventing season, I am also fortunate enough to ride my friends horse, Hoarstone Onyx (Ollie) owned by Debbie Murphy, he is a 16hh 9yo ISH who Debbie has owned for 5 years, this little horse has grown from strength to strength the past year competing in all disciplines, including qualifying twice for nationals in showjumping and eventing, I regularly compete for Alvechurch riding club for both Mercian and BRC teams, I am very excited to see what 2018 brings for these two talented horses along side friends and family, I cannot thank Alexaj Equestrian enough for their kind sponsorship and how proud I am to be a member of the team and represent them whilst competing x

Katherine Kirby
I compete at prelim level currently in dressage. I ride Bryngwennol Diamond (Bryn) who is 13.2hh and 10 years old and Archie who is 15.1hh and 8 years old, I've owned them both for 6+ years as well as owning Misty Morning (Milo) who is only a yearling. I have competed at 2 My Quest regionals on Bryn and attended nationals in 2017, I regularly compete affiliated and unaffiliated and in 2018 hope to qualify for regionals and the native pony championships again as well as continuing to train and improve the ponies. We're proud to represent Alexaj Equestrian and can't wait to see what the years have in store!
